Every day we make hundreds of decisions — what to eat, what to say, how to respond, what to prioritise. Most of them happen automatically, without us even noticing. But some decisions stay with us: the ones where we second-guess ourselves, change our minds at the last moment, or wonder afterwards what we were really thinking.
This afternoon at Cal Jan is an informal conversation about the hidden forces behind our choices.
How does our mood shape what we decide?
When do we trust our gut, and when should we slow down and think things through?
What makes some decisions feel easy and others almost impossible?
We'll touch on ideas from psychology and behavioural science — not as a lecture, but as a starting point for an open chat. There are no experts here, only curious people comparing notes on how they navigate their own lives.
Come as you are. Bring a question you've been sitting with. Stay for the coffee.
The most important decisions rarely feel like decisions at the time.
